We are only mid-summer but it feels like we are hurtling towards Fall. We wanted to keep you updated on a few changes at Trailhead as we start August. There are new faces, great classes, flexible memberships and we thought you’d want to know!

Class size will be reverting to 10 people (from Spring/Summer 12) to continue our safe spacing and accomodate the possibility of smokey conditions (and that virus which shall not be named) as we move into August/September. For those of you who haven’t been training in person for over a year, you may not have seen the changes we’ve made,

  • re-arranged equipment
  • improved class flow
  • REMINDER: Masks are required for any non-vaccinated participants
  • always awesome fresh air
  • ALL classes will follow a Strength+ format with no cardio indoors until at September

Memberships have been simplified and are all based on PUNCHCARDS (check for expiry limits for your best option). Use your sessions any way you like! 5, 10, 25, 50 session options



We have a couple of new coaches starting with us and the first you’ll meet is Lindsay. Be sure to say Hi!

Lindsay comes to coaching by way of a winding career in molecular biology and computer science. A competitive athlete most of her adult-life, she defines herself as aggressively mediocre at a lot of things: she raced bikes at the elite/pro level, has run ultras for 15 years (50k-100mi) and even dabbled in trigeekery/Ironman. She is a former alpine climbing instructor with the Seattle Mountaineers and has climbed in the Himalayas, Andes and Wadi Rum, Jordan. Lindsay raced City League for a number of years, enjoys ski touring, Nordic skiing and bribing her two little girls with snacks on the bunny slopes of Mt. Baker (the ultimate endurance sport).

As a graduate student in clinical mental health counseling, she is passionate about movement being a part of everyone’s mental health toolkit. Lindsay is an RYT-200 and trauma-informed yoga instructor and coaches endurance athletes with Cascade Endurance. Lindsay is currently preparing for Moab 240 in October 2021 and can be found training in the Cascades and now at Trailhead.


There are a few awesome things you can do to supplement your workouts at Trailhead. Many of those things are the reason that you chose Trailhead as your workout facility in the first place (think skiing, riding, epic trail runs!) but what about that self-care stuff that also feels great? Well, we are stoked to announce that Pip Forrest, LMT of Mountain Sport Massage will be joining us in the Trailhead space beginning this August.

Pip loves all the outdoor things that you do and knows how an active body can feel after some of those pursuits, especially when coupled with things like a day at the computer. Welcome, Pip!
