I have spent much of my professional life coaching people and helping them develop a strong knowledge base. Years managing a large territory of our northwestern states and Western Canada, I have firsthand experience balancing a career with the training demands of competitive sport. I came to fitness training because I love applying my knowledge, training and sense of humor in guiding others to reach their fitness potential.
With an amateur bike racing career spanning twenty years I have been fortunate to race road, cyclocross, XC and Enduro at an expert level here in North America and in Europe. as well as Ski to Sea locally (naively choosing the downhill run leg, much to the relief of my teammates)! If I’m not on one of my bicycles, you’re likely to see me running trails with the dogs or heading out for a ski.
Who has time to spin their wheels at a gym? I believe in spending as much time outside as possible, but I know that I need to workout to stay strong, especially as I age. I don’t have time to get injured and I want to be strong for my sports. I want your workouts to be functional, fun and fast.
