Coaching Philosophy

I love to have fun! Enjoying the outdoors and having fun is intrinsic to who I am. I know many other people feel the same way. My goal is to prepare my clients to explore and adventure with confidence. Ideally, injury free and for the rest of their lives!

From watching a client master a new skill, to helping someone finally get to the bottom of an injury, I love creating connections with people.

I enjoy getting creative with exercises and discovering new ways to challenge my body. I am excited to share that with others, and build a life that’s full of fun, inside and outside of the gym!

Experience

Graduated from WWU in 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science

Spent several years teaching group fitness!

Everything from the YMCA to WWU’s Rec Center. I coach Women on Weights (a super popular introductory weight training class for female-identifying folks) an VikingFit (a challenging, effective an progressive take on CrossFit for students and faculty).

I was a competitive Olympic weightlifter for several years until I tore the labrum in my hip in 2021. I had surgery to fix my torn labrum in 2022 and have since spent my time pivoting my focus to return to my love of outdoor sports and having fun doing it.

The Rad Stuff!

Lived in Washington my whole life. Love it here.

My injury a blessing in disguise and reunited me with the great outdoors. It reminded me that I live in a beautiful place that has so much to offer.

I love to ride bikes!!! Mostly mtb, but gravel and road as well. I have three and need more.

Did the road bike portion for my first Ski to Sea this year and had a blast!

I love the snow and have been skiing since I was 18 months old. You can find me working in the rental shop at Mount Baker on the weekends!

Other hobbies include: mushroom foraging, crocheting, and cooking different kinds of soup
