Sarah Perry

Coaching Philosophy

“Fitness training can be an integral part of a holistic healthy lifestyle, and there is always more to learn as each client brings unique challenges to overcome. Exercise and fitness mean different things to everyone, and the goal of training in a gym is to be able to do all the physical things you do in your everyday life better. Whether that means moving with less pain, finishing your work day with more energy left over, or working towards a fitness goal, I can help you train for your best life.”

Experience

Sarah completed her NFPT fitness trainer certifications in 2017, and attained her Master’s of Exercise Science from WWU in 2019. Sarah has been teaching in the Bellingham community since. She joined the Trailhead Athletics team in 2022.

The Rad Stuff!

Outside of the gym, you can find Sarah out on her paddle board with her dogs enjoying the sun (and sometimes the rain), mountain biking at Galbraith, or hiking on a local trail. Training for multi-day backpacking trips and mountain summits are challenges she takes on by carrying a heavy pack around places like Chanterelle Trail and Oyster Dome. She recently started pursuing river rafting and has recently successfully navigated the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon.

“Living in such a beautiful place, I just can't help wanting to be out there and being active allows me to experience those places with joy.”
